Getting Started with WordPress Simple Login Registration

This guide is an introduction to the WordPress Simple Login Registration Plugin. You are supposed to have the basic knowledge of WordPress administration. With various examples, this tutorial explains how to create a login / registration or other pages by this plugin and how to customize each pages form input fields and labels.

Creating a Registration Page

Let’s start with creating a Registration page. To create a Registration page go to ‘Pages’ > ‘Add New’ menu on your WordPress administration panel. Select the page template of your choice.

As page content put this shortcode somewhere [WPSLRP_Register] then save the page. Wait one another things need to do yet! Visit Plugins Setting tab and scroll down at the bottom and select Registration Page input dropdown with your just created registration page.

Creating a Login / Forgot Password Page

To create a Login / Forgot Password page put this shortcode somewhere as content [WPSLRP_Login] then save the page. After that, Visit Plugins Setting tab and scroll down at the bottom and select Login Page input dropdown with your just created Login page.

Creating a Profile Edit Page

To create a Profile Edit page put this shortcode somewhere as content [WPSLRP_Profile] then save the page. After that, Visit Plugins Setting tab and scroll down at the bottom and select Profile Edit Page input dropdown with your just created Profile Edit page.

Customizing Form Fields and Labels

To customize Registration / Login / Forgot Password / Edit Profile page form input fields and labels go to ‘WPSLRP’ menu then > ‘Settings’ Tab on your WordPress administration panel. See here all the pages predefined input fields with labels are there. You can edit each input fields visibility, make it required or not, edit label of it and placeholder content of it.
